Grace Youth ministries exist to help youth love Jesus.

Sunday School

This occurs 9:20am-10:20am during the 1st Worship Service.

Youth Group

This ministry occurs on Sundays from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. This is for youth 6th-12th grade. We have time for games, activities, snacks, Bible lessons, and small group discussions. Look to the Church CALENDAR to confirm what days we are meeting and also for special events. Come join us! Parents are asked to regularly help with our weekly snacks. You can sign up to bring snacks HERE.

Youth Bible Studies

This ministry occurs on Wednesday nights 6-7:30 pm for 6th-12th graders in conjunction with Kids in Christ. The guys and girls trade weeks serving with KiC and then having a time of Bible study. For example, one week the guys have Bible study and the girls serve as helpers with KIC, and the next week they'll switch places. The ladies are led by Anessa Goldsmith and Margaret Peterson. The guys are led by Matt Lange and Justin Buckallew. Please check the CALENDAR for these dates.

Winter Retreats 2025

Impact 2025 | Sr. High Winter Retreat

  • Where? Coralville, Iowa

  • What? Over 700 High School Students and Youth Leaders, Engaging & Passionate Worship, Powerful Speakers, Breakout Sessions to address other topics, Recreational Activities, Hotel accommodations

  • Other helpful info: We will take a group of high schoolers to this retreat and function as an autonomous group. We will provide transportation there/back and be present for the entirety of the retreat. We will also sign up the entire group from our church directly with the retreat. We need you to drop off/pick up your youth at Grace, pay __ per youth to Grace, fill out this form for the church, and send money with your youth for dinner Sat. and lunch on Sun.

Winter Blast 2025 | Jr. High Winter Retreat

  • When? Feb 7-9, 2025

  • Where? Hidden Acres (Dayton, IA)

  • What? Winter Blast is the annual Reach Students Central District winter retreat for Middle School students. Every year, churches form the EFCA Central District gather at Hidden Acres to worship, learn, play, grow & get away from the normal, everday things of life.

  • Other helpful info: We will take a group of Jr. Highers to this retreat and function as an autonomous group. We will provide transportation there/back and be present for the entirety of the retreat. We will also sign up the entire group from our church directly with the retreat. We need you to drop off/pick up your youth at Grace, pay ___ per youth to Grace, fill out this form for the church, and send money with your youth to spend at the retreat and for lunch on the return trip for lunch on Sun.
